Welcome to the Melrose Property Owners Association Web site. Our community is located on Daufuskie Island, just one nautical mile off the coast of Hilton Head Island and accessible only by boat. Our island is surrounded by rivers, the Atlantic Ocean and Calibogue Sound; we believe it is a unique treasure. Melrose property is situated within the Daufuskie Island Resort and Breathe Spa plantation.

All Melrose property owners are members of this Association. According to our by-laws, which can be found here, “The basic purpose of the Association shall be to promote the common good and general welfare of owners of property in Melrose and to represent the said property owners in all matters in pursuit of these objectives.”

This site is a resource for current and prospective property owners. You will find information about our community, upcoming meetings, services available, building guidelines and links to many island resources. You will also receive information from us via regular newsletters mailed to your home and at our annual member meeting.
